The Space
The first thing guests notice here is the stillness. The house sits well back from a quiet country lane, surrounded by its own woods, meadow, and water — twenty-five acres where the loudest thing you’ll hear is the wind moving across the pond.
Inside, there’s room for everyone. At 4,400 square feet across three finished levels, the house comfortably sleeps fifteen: five bedrooms — two kings, two queens, and a kids’ favorite with a full bed and three twins — plus a first-floor office with a pull-out sofa for anyone who prefers to skip the stairs, and another pull-out in the finished lower level. The three full baths were just renovated top to bottom with high-end, tasteful finishes — frameless glass showers, designer tile, matte-black fixtures.
The heart of the house is the sunroom — fully heated and cooled, with glass overhead and on three sides. From one chair you can take in a wide sweep of the property and the pond: morning mist on the water in summer, the full sweep of color in October, snow falling over the glass in January.
