City never conquered, "Porta Férrea", where they coexisted in peace for many centuries Jews, Muslims and Christians, with remains of the three cultures. The year 2016 marks the 650th anniversary of the appointment of Daroca as CITY by King Pedro IV the Ceremonious, due to his many merits and his courageous defense in the "War of the two Pedros" against the Castilian troops led by King Pedro I the Cruel, of Castile.
Daroca is a strategic place well communicated to see the natural beauties of a large area located both in the province of Zaragoza and Teruel. This is due to its excellent location, less than an hour from the two provincial capitals, through the Mudejar A-23 motorway.
